A Mumbai boy Sunny Pawar attented 89th Academy awards ceremony for OSCAR nominated film Lion. The slum boy got global fame for the nominated film Lion in which he played role with Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman. He played a role of Saroo Brierley in the Garth Davis movie.
After returning from the award show from US, he opens to media on airport about the show ‘I had a lot of fun at the Oscars. I am really happy and I really enjoyed attending the Oscars’.
The story is on a child who is separated from his family and some times after adopted by an ausrtralian family. When he becomes 18 years and grown up he uses google earth to find his real family.
The family of Sunny Pawar are very happy and thinking that this is just a dream. Sunny grandfather told ‘We all are very happy that Sunny has reached this far. It all seems like a dream. Unfortunately, due to some technical problems we couldn’t see the Oscars we will surely watch it soon’.
His mother told ‘Sunny’s favourite film is Krrish, I don’t know what to say… It’s all happening too quick. Happiness is a small word to describe my feelings at the moment’. She also thanked to Lion movie team and told this fame would help him in higher studies.
