Its just a day before the release of Anushka Sharma‘s Phillauri, a petition filed against movie. The petition was filed by Gayatri Cine Production’s representatives saying the film is copy of Gujarati movie Mangal Fera. But this petition reversed on then and court fined Rs 5 lakh for wasting the time of court.
They filed petition on Anushka Sharma actress and producer of the film, Fox Star Studios and brother of Anushka Sharma, Karnesh Sharma with their company for copying the script.
When the report came to court the justice GS Patel said the he can’t move this film to court when it is so close to release and fined Rs 5 lakh to the petitoner for wasting the time.
In the Gujarati film Mangal Fera women is Manglik and in Phillauri man is manglik. That’s why petitioner filed case on Phillauri. Mangal fera was also released in Bhojpuri and Bengali.
Earlier the petitioner send a legal notice to Phillauri team, they replied that the film is based on tradition of man getting married to tree. Petition didn’t satisfied with the reply and taken the Phillauri to court under Copyright Infringement Act. The film is relaesing tomorrow dated 24 March.
